Why birthday crafts? Well, maybe because someone here at Quality-Kids-Crafts.com really loves celebrating birthdays... or just because the average cost of a birthday party these days can range from $200 to $400. Oh, yeah. It's true.
We recently had a Hannah Montana birthday party; and while we didn't intend to "go all out" for it, we probably could have just hired the Pop Princess herself to come and sing at the party for what we paid for all of the little extras.
Okay, maybe that is a bit of an exaggeration, but the point is, you don't have to buy all of the coordinating party invitations, thank you cards, balloons, streamers, napkins, plates (yes, food plates and cake plates), tablecloths, and favors. When everything is said and done and the dust clears, it is all just going to be trash anyway.
I could launch into a discourse on the evils of commercialism and the potential ramifications for which our disposable society might be held responsible, but that is just soooo not me. No: if I were to sermonize about anything, it would be that we should consider the benefits of spending a little extra time in creating some of the items for our celebrations.
So, here are the birthday crafts; for your celebratory enjoyment!
